Manage Column Sets

Keystroke Steps: Manage Column Sets

  1. Search for the relevant portfolio > action_menu_15.png > Portfolio View.
  2. Select the Portfolio Manager tile.
  3. Select the Column Set icon_column_set.png dropdown (Figure 1).

  4. To change column sets, select a column set from the menu.
  5. To create a new column set, select the +New button (Figure 2).
  • In the Column Set Name field, give the column set a descriptive name.

  • Check relevant boxes in the Include In section to indicate the screens you want the column set to be available in (if available).

  • Use the Add and Remove buttons to select which columns to include, and use the arrows to the right of the Selected Columns field to reorder the columns.

  • Use the Copy Column Set button to quickly copy the current column set and modify it.

  • Select Save.

  1. To edit or delete existing column sets, select the Manage Column Sets button (Figure 3).
  • Select the column set you wish to work with. For column sets you did not create, you will only see the Copy icon icon_copy_column.png. It works like the Copy Column Set button described above. For column sets you created, you can select the Edit or Delete icons as well.

  • Select the Edit icon icon_edit_column.png to edit a column set. Use the Add and Remove buttons to select which columns to include, and use the arrows to the right of the Selected Columns field to reorder the columns (Figure 4).

  • Select the Delete icon icon_delete_column.png to delete a column set.

  • Select Save.

  • Select Done.

  1. You can also filter the data in the Portfolio View. Enter text you would like to filter on in the Filter box and the filter will be applied (Figure 5).
Tip!

Hover over a column in the New Column Set screen for a short description of its function. Column sets for work, resources, outcomes, strategies, etc., all work similarly.
