When you create a log, you have the option to assign it to someone and associate it with another item.
By default, the primary association for a log is the workspace that it belongs to.
When associations are enabled for a log type:
When multiple associations are enabled for a log type, then you can create secondary associations between logs of that type with other entities of same type as the parent entity. You can associate a log with entity items such as work, workspaces, strategies, and boards so that you can track how the log impacts or is impacted by the entity items. For example, you can associate a risk that was created in project A with project B and project C. You can specify the type of association as: Blocks, Blocked by, Depends on, Dependent of, Impacts, Impacted by, Related to, Related, Causes, Caused by, Contributes to, or Contributed by.
NOTE
You can associate logs with only the entity items that you have edit permissions to.
You can also create reports based on these associations and filter by association types.

You can associate a log with other entity items, for example, to indicate that the log impacts or is impacted by a different project or workspace.

NOTE
You can edit or delete only the comments that you added.
You can create a copy of an existing log.
> Duplicate log. The copy of the log is created.You can transfer a log to a different log type. For example, you can transfer a log from a risk to an issue. A new log based on the selected log type is created. The values for attributes that exist on both log types are copied to the new log. The original log remains in the list for reference purposes and is read-only with the status Transferred.
