Strategy status widget

Description

Provides information about the status and health of strategy items.

The Strategy status widget displays status information of strategy items in a grid. By default, the widget includes the following strategy attributes as columns:

• Strategic Status

• Strategy Type

• Investment Dependencies

• Work Actual/Schedule Start

• Work Actual/Schedule Finish

• Work Actual/Schedule Duration

However, the widget can be configured to include up to 10 of any combination of strategy attributes. 

The widget is available for use in Planview.Me, and in Planview Portfolios on Overview tabs on My Overview and the strategy portfolio view.

• In Planview.Me and My Overview, the widget displays strategy items included in the selected strategy portfolio. Initially the first strategy portfolio alphabetically that you have access to is displayed, but you can change it to a different strategy portfolio.

• In the strategy portfolio view, the widget displays the strategy entities in the current strategy portfolio.

Available functionality

You can edit the attributes directly in the grid.

To change the order of the columns

You can rearrange the columns by dragging the column header to a different position. The order is saved in the browser cache. 

To switch to a different strategy portfolio

Select a strategy portfolio from the list in the upper right corner of the widget. 

To view a strategy item

Click the link to the strategy item in the grid. 

To view more information for the selected strategy portfolio

Click Go to Portfolio Manager.

Option	Description
Title	Name of the widget.
Description (contextual help)	Description that appears when the user clicks the help icon for the widget.

Managing columns

You can add, remove, and rearrange the columns. The columns are listed in the order that they appear in the grid from left to right.  

1. Click Widget menu icon >  Settings.
2. To add a column:
   1. In the Columns section, click + Add column.
   2. Search for and/or select the column that you want to add. The column is added to the bottom of the list.
3. To move a column, drag it to the desired position.
4. To remove a column, click the X in the column list.
5. When you are finished, click Save.
