The Lifecycle Approvals widget displays all work, strategy, and outcome lifecycle items that require your approval. Managers and executives can use this widget to quickly and easily manage their lifecycle approvals with fewer clicks than by using the lifecycle screens in Planview Portfolios.

Users with the required lifecycle role who are responsible for approving lifecycle steps, such as project managers and program managers, can perform the following procedures. For more information, see Lifecycles.

To approve a lifecycle step:
Click to open the Approve lifecycle step screen.
(Optional) In the Comments box, enter notes or comments.
To disapprove a lifecycle step:
To view a lifecycle step in Planview Portfolios:
Click the lifecycle step row or the lifecycle step name link.
To delegate a lifecycle step to a different user:

To review the item related to the lifecycle step in Planview Portfolios:

Document files up to 10MB in size and of the following file formats are supported in the previewer:
Audio and video files cannot be previewed in the previewer, but can be downloaded from it

For work items and strategies, you can access the Schedule view on the Plan screen for the relevant work item or the Strategy Schedule screen for the relevant strategy in Planview Portfolios.
