Announcements tile widget

Description

The Announcements tile displays announcements or other informative messages, which can include links to organizational resources such as internal sites and reports.

Functionality

Users can view the tile contents and access the link targets (if available). Information about who last updated the widget contents is displayed by default, but there is an option to turn it off.

Configuration settings

The tile includes options to format characters using bold, italic, underlines, and textual content using headings, dividers, blocks, and bulleted or numbered lists. You can also add links to URLs.

You can use the integrated Planview Anvi AI assistant to review the content and  provide suggestions for making the content:

• longer or shorter
• have a more professional or casual tone
• translated into another language (supported languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish)
• grammatically correct

To hide the last updated by information:

In the Settings dialog, clear the Display last updated information in footer check box.

To have Planview Anvi review the content and provide suggestions: 

1. Enter the text content.
2. Click the Anvi icon  and then select the option from the menu.
3. Review the results carefully, and then do one or more of the following:
   1. To replace the original text with the suggested text, click Replace.
   2. To copy the suggested text, click the copy icon .
   3. To get a different suggestion, click the Retry message  icon.
   4. To provide feedback, click the like  or dislike icon  and then specify the reason.

To format the text font:

Select the text and then do one of the following:

• To make the text bold, click 
• To italicize the text, click 
• To underline the text, click 
• To strikethrough the text, click 
• To change the color of the text, click  > , and then select the color.
• To apply code formatting, click 

To add a link:

1. Place the cursor where you want to add the link and then click .
2. In the Create link dialog, type the URL and the text to be displayed on the tile, if different from the URL.

To create a heading:

Click anywhere in the line and then click:

•  to create a main heading
•  to create a sub heading

To add a dividing line:

Place the cursor where you want to add the line and then click  > .

To add a code block:

1. Place the cursor where you want the code block and then click  > .
2. Type the code in the code block.

To add a block quote:

Place the cursor where you want the block quote to be and then click  > .
