Select a role to see a Learning Path comprised of online self-paced, instructor-led courses and/or webinars. People often have responsibilities that span multiple roles, so think about what works best for your organization.

Which learning option is best for you?
  • The free, self-paced online Training Academy combines help documents and videos into an easy to follow structure organized by by subjects.
  • Instructor-led Courses are taught by Planview certified Subject Matter Experts who cover a variety of subjects, provide hand-on exercises, and interactive student materials all in a professional learning environment. Public Training classes are open to all customers. Classes available for Public Training are indicated with a red "register" button. 
  • Our free Enablement Webinars are also lead by Subject Matter Experts who dive into specialized topics in short video sessions. Webinars available to attend are indicated with a red "register" button.

A "Workspace Member" is someone who will manage their work on a kanban board, and/or someone who will track their time spent on activities.

Beginner Level Learning

 Executing - Connect work to a board to execute it, to get insight into ongoing tasks and to make follow-up of progress easy and accurate.  Workspace Essentials - This beginner level course teaches methodologies to collaborate with your team on projects, documents and action items in Planview ProjectPlace. Workspace Member Enablement - Workspace Members will learn everything needed to know to work efficiently in ProjectPlace and collaborate with teams on projects, documents and action items. Register

A "Workspace Administrator" is someone who is responsible for creating and managing workspaces used to manage group projects and complete daily tasks.

Workspace Member Enablement - Workspace Members will learn everything needed to know to work efficiently in ProjectPlace and collaborate with teams on projects, documents and action items. Register
  Executing - Connect work to a board to execute it, to get insight into ongoing tasks and to make follow-up of progress easy and accurate.    How to Plan in projectplace - Learn about creating activities, milestones ,and connecting board and cards back to the plan. Understand why you would select a roadmap instead of a plan. Review different use cases. Recorded April 2020
  Collaborating - Stop using e-mails and instead use Conversations to inform both team members and stakeholders. Manage documentation with the Documents tool.  Joining online meetings is easy - just click the meeting link to join even if you are not logged in to ProjectPlace or not a ProjectPlace user.

Workspace Administrator - This intermediate level course teaches methodologies to create and manage workspaces that set you and your team up for success in Planview ProjectPlace. Workspace Administration Enablement - Workspace Admins will learn everything needed to create and manage workspaces that set their teams up for success. Register

An "Account Administrator" is someone who is responsible for setting up and maintaining workspaces, managing the application, setting up the account, creating teams, accessing statistics, looking after workspaces and storage, and managing incoming workspace requests.

Account Administrator - This intermediate level course provides administrators with the tools and information necessary to successfully support Planview ProjectPlace. Account Administrator Enablement - Account Administrators will learn how to set up and maintain the account organization, and to insure the implementation and use of ProjectPlace is working properly. Register
