Report Time

Summary

To properly track the progress of work, report hours spent on assigned tasks, provide additional hours needed to complete, mark finished tasks, provide comments, and raise issues that may impact the work schedule, budget, scope, or quality.

Planview Enterprise timesheet information is used in a number of ways. In addition to typical accounting applications, it informs the work owner about the amount of effort spent and remaining on the task, so that they may determine how accurate the estimation process was and if the work is on schedule and on budget.  The schedule may need to be adjusted to reflect what was planned versus the actual pace that work is being completed and a change request may need to be submitted to reflect additional hours needed to complete the work.
