The following articles contain details about working with the Planview Enterprise One - Portfolio and Resource Management tabular models. They will assist with dashboard and analytics development using Microsoft Power BI or other BI tools.
A tabular model is a business intelligence database containing categories of related information allowing an end user or analyst to choose, drag and drop and visualize data elements without the need to understand the underlying data structure. All relationships are built and defined within the model itself. Categories of data are broken down into either dimensions or measures. Dimensions contain attributes and non-numeric data while measures contain metrics which can be sliced by the associated dimensions.
Tabular models are staged data sources typically processed and re-loaded daily. Job stream management within Planview Enterprise One - Portfolio and Resource Management governs this processing schedule.
