Manage Resource Changes


Managing resource changes due to priority shifts, slippages, unplanned time off, etc. is vital to project success. 

Communication is a key element of effectively managing resource changes. When in doubt, over-communicate to ensure that everyone has the information they need in order to respond effectively.  As discussed in our best practice, Manage Communications, we recommend the development and implementation of a communications plan and guidelines to help determine when and how communication should take place.
