When the calendar line is edited in Resource Management Worksheet , additional lines are created for each edit

Project Worksheet (PW) and Resource Management Worksheet (RMW) referenced in this article are based on Silverlight technology and are no longer available as of Changepoint 2020

Each row of calendar entries in RMW represent a record in the ResourceAvailability table. The original calendar entry has a start and end date and a number of hours associated with it.

If the user edits the calendar row, and the number of hours does not match the existing calendar entry or there is a gap in the dates between the new entry and the old entry, a new calendar row will be created, along with a new record in the ResourceAvailability table.

If the user edits the calendar row by adding the same number of hours to an adjacent cell, the start or end date of the calendar entry will be modified, and no new row will be added.
