SYMPTOMS

When accessing some parts of the Changepoint application, e.g. user management, an error message pops up. This happens for some users but not all.

ERROR

Error in user management: You do no not have the feature required to create this entity.

 

REASON

The feature cache in AppFabric is out of sync with the database, e.g. after an upgrade.

RESOLUTION

  1. Please open the page <your changepointURL>/flushcache.aspx , e.g. https://changepoint.mycompany.com/flushcache.aspx
  2. Click on all "flush" buttons that are displayed

After this, the AppFabric cache will reload automatically with the correct values from the database.
