Can requests be accessed from the company name or any other option on the tree view?

Requests can be accessed from the company profile as well as the following:

  • From the Support Customers tree view in the Requests section, where request information is available only for customers that have a Support Level Agreement with your organization.
  • From the contact profile, which displays request information initiated by that contact only.
  • From the Open Requests tree view in the Requests section, which contains all open requests in  Changepoint. Open requests are requests that have not been rejected by the approver or closed at  completion.
  • Through a link on the Portal. The following portlets are related to request management: Requests  Summary, Requests Assigned to Me, Requests Initiated by Me and Request Summary (Chart).
  • Through a simple search using quick search or through a more advanced search

For accessing requests from the company profile, see steps below:

1. In the Applications bar, expand the My Applications section and click Companies.
or In the Folders view, click Folders and select Companies.
The Companies tree view displays.
2. Expand the tree view and click a company.
3.The Related Requests section for the company displays on the profile.
4. Expand the Related Requests section to display a list of request types associated with the
company.
5. Click a request type to expand the section and display the list of requests of that type that are
associated with the company.
6. Click a request number to open the request profile and view the details.
