What is the difference between Planned Remaining Hours and Remaining Hours?

Planned remaining hours

This is the sum of the planned hours in the current and all future Fiscal Periods.

Remaining Hours

If the Project has 'Status Required' option enabled, 'Remaining Hours' is updated by the resource or the Project Manager when statusing the task.

'Remaining hours' as well as 'Percent Complete' are calculated automatically during project rollup by Changepoint when the project has the option 'Status Not required' enabled. The 'Remaining Hours' then equals to 'Planned Hours' minus 'Actual Hours'. If Actuals are greater than the Planned Hours, 'Remaining Hours' are set to 1.
