Cannot associate Competitor to Project in PSA/PPM environments

Question:
The equivalent of Objective (ITD) is Competitor in PSA/PPM.   
Why Competitors cannot be associated to Projects?

Answer:
In PSA/PPM environments, Competitors cannot be added to projects by design.

Customer can create a UDF entity-based on Competitor with multi-selection to get this information in Project in PSA/PPM.
