What is the Client Portal User License (GUL) feature used for?

The Client Portal User Licenses (GUL) feature is an internal feature for contact users (not resources) that have been given access to the Client Portal. It is similar to the base user license (BUL) in that it counts the number of contact users with access to the Client Portal.

Note: If your organization uses the Client Portal, make sure the Release Guest Licenses job is configured and running. This job releases the Client Portal User licenses when the access to Client Portal expires.
