Planview Admin Release Notes - 06/14/24

We have deployed the following enhancements to Planview Admin during the week of June 14, 2024. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your PV Admin experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). Release notes for Planview Admin are published weekly on Fridays. The next set of release notes will be published on June 21, 2024.

In addition to the fixes and enhancements below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current PV Admin experience.

New Enhancements

Revisions to SSO configuration page
We redesigned the SSO configuration page for ease of use. The page was reorganized to take users through each step of the SSO configuration process. Additionally, the page also includes buttons that can be used to test your configuration or quickly copy information that needs to be sent to your IT department.

Automatic assignment of adminstrator role in Planview.Me
Administrators in Planview Admin with access to Planview.Me have been automatically assigned the administrator role in Planview.Me as well.

New Pending status for users
We added a new Pending status in the Users grid for users that have been added to Planview Admin but have not created their passwords yet. Previously, these user were listed as Inactive, which caused confusion.
