Using the Customer Success Center

Searching the Customer Success Center

The Planview Customer Success Center provides a unified support experience across the ecosystem of Planview products, including Planview Enterprise, Troux, and Projectplace. Use the search bar to quickly find content across all Planview products, or click a product on the home page to browse the site. 

Use the icons in the upper right corner to:

  • Get help using this site
  • Select a language
  • Change your user preferences


Refining Search Results

In the search results, click a category across the top to narrow down your search results. You can also click more_button.png below the categories to show additional filters for product and language.  


Browsing the Article Hierarchy

If you would like to browse the hierarchy of articles, click the folder icon at the top left of the page. You can use the folder, or the the breadcrumb links next to the folder, to navigate from anywhere within the site.


Browsing Tabbed Content

At the category level, articles are presented in a tabbed layout. The following types of content are typically available: 

  • How-To
  • Product Help
  • E-learning
  • Best Practices
  • FAQs
  • Analytics 

Not all tabs are shown in every category. If you find an area where you would like to see additional content,  use the Feedback link at the bottom of the site to suggest new articles or categories. 


Rating Pages and Leaving Feedback

Your feedback counts! You can rate each article or leave feedback using the icons at the bottom of the page. Please help us make your experience using the Customer Success Center better. If you have additional feedback, you can also use the Leave Feedback link at the bottom of the site. We welcome your suggestions!


Saving Articles as PDFs

Click the PDF icon pdf_icon.png at the top right of any article to create a PDF. 

Advanced Search Tips

The search function allows wildcards, grouping, booleans, and more. Click "Try It"  below to test a live search example.

Search Type How it Works Try it!
Search using quotes Put quotes around words to search text as a phrase. Enter"Resource utilization" to return results as if a Boolean AND was used.

Search with parentheses Group words and use Boolean operators to separate them.

(Reports OR Visualizations) AND Navigate

Search by date created The format is YYYYMMDDhhmmss. 
Append an asterisk '*' to search for everything within a certain date. 


Search by extension Quickly find PDFs in Help content.


Search special characters Special characters must be handled differently when you search help. They are:

+ - && || ! ( ) { } [ ] ^ " ~ * ;: \

To escape these characters, use "\" before the character
